Original Creation

Deer into the forest

Voy Kay 23 Apr 2020

Well, I was motivated and all went well until ... I had to paint the animal. Guess I wasn't focused enough and screwed the poor deer up! Ah anyway, it has a beautiful environment where it can spend its days, no worries.
Canvas used was a budget 9"x12", prepared with liquid white. Few colours were used for this: Phtalo green, ivory black, T-white and cad red. I hope to do better next time!

Trees and grass and background are amazing. Details in the trees are beautiful and grass is amazing.
Quite a discovery that phtalo green with white gives this amazing color.

It took a long time before the tree branches were finished. I wanted a lot of detail in them and even tried some shy leafs on them. I love the effect that gave.
Thx for you cheers Sunnylady, till next painting!

I agree with Sunnylady . Very nice one!

Thank you Jin! The deer is a bit of a failure ….. or else …. one has to agree that the animal is full at peace and bowing its head a little (maybe it was eating!), then the silhouette looks more or less normal.

really like it ... love your style of painting ... impressive .love the trees and grass too good job..

Dear David, so welcomed, your cheers and admiration! The animal wasn't my best creation yet consider it a young animal during its supper time, and the dimensions and shape will be justified!
Please enjoy my other paintings as well, I just posted a cartoon styled elephant that I hope you will enjoy also!

Till very soon!!
